In June 2010, Pat Divoky was
officially appointed to the position of Director of Job & Family
Services. As Director, Ms. Divoky is responsible for managing a
staff of nearly 360, and a budget of just over $35 million.
She began her employment with
the Department of Job and Family Services (DJFS) in March 2002,
when she was hired to serve as the Deputy Director of Children
and Adult Services. In 2004, Divoky advanced to the position of
Assistant Director of Programs.
Prior to joining the County
of Summit, Divoky worked for the Greater Cleveland Nurses
Association, University and Mt. Sinai Hospitals, Cleveland State
University and the private sector.
Divoky holds a bachelor's of
science in nursing (BSN) degree from Kent State University and a
master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Cleveland
State University.
